Red Jacket VFW Post 3068, in partnership with Springville VFW Post 5260, will host a 20K Road March in support of the 27th National Veterans Golden Age Games, coming to Buffalo in 2013.

On November 3, Master Sergeant Jason Jaskula will carry a fully loaded “Ruc-Sack” containing 58 memorial rocks, each rock symbolizing a Western New York US Military member Killed In Action (KIA) during Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom or Operation New Dawn.

Master Sergeant will begin the 20km KIA Memorial Road March at 11 a.m. starting at the AMVETS Post located on 10126 Boston State Road, Boston, NY. MSG Jaskula will carry the 58 Memorial Rocks in a Ruck-sac North along Boston State Road continuing on Chestnut Ridge Road continuing his march onto South Buffalo Road and ending the 20Km KIA Memorial Road March at the American Legion Post 567 (3740 North Buffalo Road, Orchard Park, NY).

The "Pathfinders/Vets 4 Vets" group has graciously agreed to be the end point for the 20KM KIA Memorial Ruck march in conjunction with their already planned Spaghetti Dinner. The Dinner is open to the public ($6.00 for adults $5 for children 5 and up) VETERANS are FREE! They will have auctions and fundraising activities with all proceeds donated to the US Department of Veterans Affairs 27th National Veterans Golden Age Games

Red Jacket VFW Post 3068 and Springville VFW Post 5260 are both a 501 (c) 3 organizations dedicated to raising funds for the 2013 National Veterans Golden Age Games.
