This annual event now in our 19th year is named in memory of Dr. Andrew Gage and raises money to help support the neonatal unit (NICU) at Sisters Hospital.

The family of Dr. Gage along with Physicians, nurses and medical associates from the Catholic Health system, will trade in their stethoscopes for aprons as they team up for "Dr. Andy's Day for Kids" on Sunday, February 24th from 12 noon- 6 p.m. at the Buffalo Brewpub, 6861 Main St. in Williamsville.

This annual event helps raise funds to benefit the Sisters Hospital Special Care Nursery- a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) that cares for the tiniest patients.

During the fundraiser, "guest bartenders" work throughout the day- donating their time and tips for this worthwhile cause. The Buffalo Brewpub will also be pitching in by donating the profits from the food and beverage sales during the event. In addition to an afternoon of socializing, there will be a huge basket auction in the tent for theme baskets made by the nurses and staff at the Catholic Hospitals, and numerous raffles, 50-50. The dining room will be open and music is provided by Gregg Sansone.

This event is held with support of volunteers, 100% of all tips that are given, 100% of all monies raised through raffles of merchant donated items as well as the Basket Raffle sponsored by the hospital departments goes directly to the cause. In addition, Buffalo Brewpub donates all mailing costs as well as profits from food and beverage sales during the event.

Any donation such as gift certificates, tickets, clothing or any other merchandise will help. Hopefully your corporation or organization can donate to help this worthwhile cause. All donations will be listed on a Donor Board at the Brewpub, which will be displayed from February 5th through the day of the event. Monetary donations may be made payable to Sisters Hospital Foundation which is a 501(c)(3) organization. (Federal ID 22-2283077)
