Amputee Support Group
at VA Western New York Healthcare System
VA Western New York Healthcare System in partnership with Mac Alpine Presbyterian Church is starting an amputee support group beginning Friday, February 24 at 2pm in room 503 and will continue to meet the last Friday of each month. The group will provide a forum for Veterans who have lost a limb or limbs to come together to discuss resources available. The February topic is benefits. We have our meetings at Family Chiropractic located at 4017 Harlem Road in Synder (at the corner of Harlem & Saratoga). Meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 7pm.
Remember, feel free to invite a family member or lactating/pregnant friend to come with you if you'd like. All are welcome at our meetings.
If you are interested in becoming a member (though its not required) the yearly membership is $40. This includes a quarterly print publication mailed to your address directly from La Leche League International that features great articles about breastfeeding.
You do not need to be a member or attend LLL meetings if you have breastfeeding questions or need help with breastfeeding.
