Public Hearings Held Seeking Input on Services for Seniors & Caregivers

Everyone has an opinion about what matters most to them as they age. The Area Agency on Aging, Erie County Department of Senior Services, is interested in hearing what’s important to You!

Commissioner Randy Hoak invites Erie County residents 60+, their families, caregivers,community partners, and aging service providers to attend one of the Public Hearings to comment on current programs and services funded by Senior Services and those being planned for 2015.

The Hearings are open to the public and will be held on Friday, September 26th at the Central Library at Lafayette Square (access elevators at Ellicott St Entrance)from 2:00–3:30 pm; and Thursday, October 30th, at the Orchard Park Senior Center, 20 Linwood Ave, Orchard Park, from 1:00 – 2:30.

Commissioner Hoak will give brief opening remarks, along with a montage of program pictures taken over the past year. He and Tim Hogues, Community Planning Coordinator, will highlight new programs, and the Department’s Advisory Board Chair, Rose Marie Hall, will serve as Moderator.

Walk-ins are welcome.
